Classic Blackjack
Blackjack is played with one standard deck of 52 playing cards that is shuffled before each game. The aim is to beat the Dealer’s hand by either getting a better hand, without exceeding 21, or by the Dealer’s hand going bust.

Push – if you and the dealer both have the same score, it is called a Push and the game ends in a tie.
Bust – if your hand exceed 21, your hand is bust.
Win – If the dealer is bust, you win.
Denomination
- A jack, queen and king have the value of 10.
- Ace has the value of either 1 or 11
If the first two cards dealt are an Ace and a card with the value of 10, you get Blackjack and automatically win. If the dealer has a chance of getting Blackjack as well (and tie the game), he will keep playing. Blackjack always wins, even if the opponent has 21.
Double Down
This option is used if you assume that your hand can beat the Dealer’s hand. If your hand is 9, 10 or 11 you may double your bet. If you choose to double, you receive only one more card and then it’s the dealer’s turn.
Insurance
If the dealer gets an Ace as his first card, you have an Insurance option available. Insurance costs half your original bet. If the dealer gets a Blackjack, you get your money back, even if you bust.
Split
If both your cards have the same denomination (this does not include picture cards of different types, i.e King and Queen), you may choose to split. Your hand is divided into two separate hands and a bet equal to your original bet is placed on the second hand. After the first hand is complete, you will move onto the second hand.
